These are the official rules for using our services. When you use our website or sell a car to us, you are agreeing to these points.
1. Getting an Estimate (Quote)

Not a Final Price: Any price we give you over the phone or online is an “estimate” based on what you tell us.

Honesty: You must tell us the truth about the car’s condition. If the engine is missing, the tires are gone, or the car is badly damaged and you didn’t tell us, our price will change when we arrive.

Price Expiry: Our offers usually last for a limited time because the price of scrap metal changes every day.
2. Ownership and Legal Rights

Proof of Ownership: You must prove that you own the car. We cannot buy a car from you if it does not belong to you.

Your ID: By law, we must see and record a copy of your Photo ID (like a NSW Driver’s License) before we pay you.

No Encumbrance: You promise that the car does not have any unpaid loans or “finance” owing on it.
3. The Condition of the Vehicle

Personal Items: You must take out all personal belongings (wallets, E-Tolls, papers) before we tow the car. We are not responsible for items left inside once the car is gone.

Access: You must make sure the car is in a place where our tow truck can reach it. If the car is stuck in a basement or a bog, you must tell us first.
4. Payments and Sales

Instant Cash: We pay Cash for Cars (up to $9,999) at the time of pickup.

Final Sale: Once you accept the money and we hook the car to our truck, the sale is final. You cannot ask for the car back later.
5. Registration and Number Plates

Plates: It is your job to remove the number plates if you want to return them to Service NSW for a refund.

Paperwork: We will help you with the Notice of Disposal forms, but the owner is responsible for notifying the RMS that the car has been sold.
6. Towing Services

Free Removal: We offer free towing for cars we buy.

Safety: We have the right to refuse a pickup if the area is dangerous for our drivers or our equipment.
7. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any damage to your driveway or property if you ask us to enter your private land to pick up a car.

We are not responsible for any loss of profit or issues that happen after the car is removed.
